Old Richians Association

Welcome to the Old Richians Association. By way of introduction, I attended Sir Thomas Rich's School between 2003 and 2010 and have recently been asked to act as Chairman of the new association by Chris Carter.

Sir Thomas Rich's is extremely proud of its diverse and talented former pupils and whether you left Tommies 5 or 50 years ago, you remain a member of a unique community. The Old Richians Association is inviting all friends and former pupils to become members and help to strengthen links between Richians old and new. Click here to sign up today.

We are currently pulling together an exciting calendar of events for the academic year 2018/19, including school productions and recitals, sports matches, guest speakers, and Old Richian social and networking events in Gloucester, London and beyond. We look forward to sharing further details with you in the coming months.

Social Media

Follow us on our official social media channels and keep up to date with the latest events, news and developments!

The Old Richians Association will:

  1. Strengthen links between Sir Thomas Rich's and its former pupils by promoting Old Richian contributions to the day-to-day life of the School
  2. Organise regular events to reconnect Old Richians with their peers and former teachers
  3. Keep Old Richians informed about school life and their peers
  4. Financially support Sir Thomas Rich's and raise money for The School Development Fund – more details of which can be found here.

We want to be in touch with as many friends and former pupils as possible. Our members will receive regular email updates and a copy of The Richian, the School's official bi-annual magazine, along with invitations to school and Old Richian events.

In addition, from the academic year 2018/19, Tommies' diverse former pupils enable us to offer our members exclusive discounts, along with access to professional advice clinics covering mortgages, wills and probate, contractual disputes, and financial planning.

We are also on Facebook and Instagram. Like and follow us for regular news, updates and throw-back photos.

If you have any questions, would like to discuss your contribution to the school or the Old Richians Association, or have any ideas, suggestions or comments for our Alumni Association, please contact me at alumni@strs.org.uk.
