"Let it be right or wrong!"

The Shakespeare Society took their last trip, for this academic year, to the RSC to see Titus Andronicus. Shakespeare's Rome and its politics, power play and corruption seemed, to an extent, pertinent today.

Although the desire for vengeance from Titus, Rome's most honoured general, and his adversary, Queen Tamara the Goth, was bloody, the staging was compelling.

A mark of a successful theatre trip, is the discussion generated in the minibus on the way back to school. The performance of Titus Andronicusprompted much critical interpretation.

Thanks go to Mr Parker for organising the Shakespeare Society throughout the year. We look forward to next season.
