The school chess team travelled to Eton College on Sunday to compete against some of the best chess-playing schools in the south of the country in the English Chess Federation School’s Rapidplay Competition.

We had victories against King Edward VI Grammar School from Essex and Reigate Grammar from Surrey, we drew against Dulwich College (Kent) and lost to Sevenoaks School (Kent) and City of London Boys School.

Overall we came 16^th out of 40 teams. Well done to all our players.
