Jacob Barns to performat the BBC Proms

Jacob Barns will perform as part of the BBC Proms Youth Ensemble in the world premiere of Tom Harrold’s ‘Raze’ which will open the BBC Last Night of the Proms on Saturday September 10 at 7.15pm.

Jacob has already performed at the prestigious festival with the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain on Saturday 6 Aug 2016, performing works including Richard Strauss’s ‘Also sprach Zarathustra’ and Gustav Holst’s ‘The Planets’. I am immensely proud of Jacob’s achievements this year and wish him well as he takes up his place at The Royal Northern College of Music.
