Sir Thomas Rich’s Parents’ Association run the school uniform shop, which is staffed by volunteers. There are a number of essential items of uniform that are only available through our shop including blazers, school tie & games kit. Unfortunately, the lead time for the blazers is approximately 5 months and therefore we need to order blazers by mid March if we are to ensure we have stock of the sizes needed by August. We therefore strongly recommend that you arrange to have a fitting appointment as soon as you know you have a place at STRS.

If you are starting in year 7 at the start of the new academic year, you will be given details of the specific dates we have arranged for fittings for new year 7 students as part of the documentation you receive. The uniform items you have ordered will be available to collect and pay for at our year 7 handout morning (usually at the end of June) details of which will be sent to you.

You can pay by cheque (payable to “STRS PA”), by cash or by card when you collect your ordered uniform.

We currently supply two styles of blazer. The standard blazer is slightly cheaper, is available in 2” size bandings, is less fitted and does not require a deposit to paid in advance. The Made to Order blazer is available in 1” size bandings including different sleeve and length options and offers a more fitted look. This blazer must be ordered in advance and a £30 deposit paid (in cash or by cheque made payable to “STRS PA”) at the time of ordering or at the very latest to have arrived at school by Wed 13/03/19. If your son/daughter does not obtain the required GCSE grades to join our Sixth Form, a refund can be requested. However, if you son/daughter does obtain the required GCSE grades and then elects not to join, it is our policy not to refund the deposit because we have ordered and incurred the cost of a blazer specifically for them.

The uniform items you have ordered will be available to collect and pay the balance for, once the GCSE results have been obtained. You will be notified of the dates arranged for this once the results have been announced. You can pay by cheque (payable to “STRS PA”), by cash or by card when you collect your ordered uniform.

Returns policy - If you change your mind about your purchase, please return the item to the Uniform Shop with the original receipt within 28 days and we will offer you an exchange or a credit note. Please note that items must be returned in their original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. If you are unable to get to the Shop within 28 days, please send the item(s) to Reception and we can deal with the matter when we are next on site - Thank you.
