Sir Thomas Rich’s Teaching School Alliance
Teaching Schools are outstanding schools that work with others to provide high-quality training and development to new and experienced school staff. Sir Thomas Rich’s Gloucester leads the county’s newest Teaching School Alliance, working with Cleeve School, Barnwood Park Arts College and Tewkesbury School, and is one of eight Teaching School Alliances in Gloucestershire. Collectively this is known as the Gloucestershire Teaching School Alliance Network.
Sir Thomas Rich’s Teaching School Alliance delivers continuing professional development (CPD) courses for both primary and secondary teachers, and provides Initial Teacher Training (ITT) working with the Gloucestershire Initial Teacher Education Partnership (GITEP), Odyssey Teaching School Alliance (through the School Direct route), the University of Gloucestershire, the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England.
