- feedback appropriately on pupil development
- develop lessons to help pupils tackle the rigour of the examination framework by exposing them to experiences which prepare them for assessments
Part 1: Teaching the big ideas of science (18 Nov)
A well designed KS3 curriculum provides a strong foundation for study at KS4. This session looks at the development of big ideas in science, the skills to be developed and explores activities to ensure pupils have the necessary background for success at Key Stage 4.
Part 2: Planning with assessment objectives in mind (27 Jan)
This session focuses on planning lessons with GCSE Science objectives in mind. Through practical activities you will consider intent and ways to implement those ideas in lessons.
