The second of our A Level PE student webinars took place this week in the Pavilion with Ross Howitt and Keynote Educational. We had Year 12 PE students studying ‘Bridging the Gap from GCSE to A Level’ on Tuesday and on Wednesday Year 13 PE students enjoyed ‘Progession and Preparation from Year 12-13’. Ross Howitt is an educational consultant and lectures in Educational Leadership, Management and Change at Edge Hill University. As a PE specialist, Ross has been involved in curriculum design and has written several magazine articles, textbooks and resources including the AQA GCSE (9-1) PE Student Book. Ross has worked with Premiership football clubs and varying sports people as well as in the corporate world to facilitate effective leadership and institutional improvement. Keynote Educational provides student and CPD courses for teachers in a range of subjects.
