Year 12 Admissions

Prospective students from any school can apply to join our co-educational Sixth Form in Year 12. The GCSE grades required to study each subject at A Level are given in the Sixth Form Prospectus.

Applications are made direct to the School, via our online portal which opens on 31 January from the home page of our website. More information about life and study in Year 12 and 13 at Sir Thomas Rich’s is available in the Sixth Form section.

  • 30 January 2025 - open evening
  • 31 January 2025 – applications to Sixth Form open (online, via homepage)
  • 28 February 2025 – application deadline
  • 31 May 2025 – deadline for modifications to applications
  • Early July 2025 – Year 12 taster days at STRS
  • Mid-August 2025 – A Level results day
