Year 12 Admissions

Prospective students from any school can apply to join our co-educational Sixth Form in Year 12. The GCSE grades required to study each subject at A Level are given in the Sixth Form Prospectus.

Applications are made direct to the School, via our online portal which opens late January from the home page of our website. More information about life and study in Year 12 and 13 at Sir Thomas Rich’s is available in the Sixth Form section.

Apply Online (from 30 Jan 2026)

  • 29 January 2026 - open evening
  • 30 January 2026 – applications to Sixth Form open (online, via homepage)
  • 28 February 2026 – application deadline
  • 31 May 2026 – deadline for modifications to applications
  • Early July 2026 – Year 12 taster days at STRS
  • Mid-August 2026 – A Level results day
