On Thursday 4th July, Year 9 and 10 Language Ambassadors enjoyed a talk and a workshop about careers in the media with Modern Foreign Languages. John Price from the BBC gave a presentation to the boys on the media and BBC Monitoring and discussed careers in languages. The boys then completed a range of challenging translation exercises. John said, "I was very impressed- it was quite difficult stuff and they managed it. One of the Polish boys could read the Russian I gave them." John also commented that the boys had a 'Good grasp of current affairs too.' We are very proud of our language ambassadors and would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all their hard work this year. Thank you also to John for delivering a very interesting presentation and workshop.
