On the last day of the Spring term, we headed back in time with the Onatti Company for the Spanish play. The group performed the play ‘El Viejo Saloon’ to an enthusiastic audience who were keen to participate at every opportunity. The story was set in the wild west of America in 1892 where The Old Saloon needed to make some money- and fast – so Papa and Delores hold a talent show! But was there any talent? This was yet another excellent play performed by the Onatti Company which provided opportunities for audience participation from the start with Ibi Ghaffar 9R as the resident bartender. Brilliant acting, humour and accessibility of language made this play entertaining from start to finish. Olé!
