After months of reading and voting, pupils have chosen Wonder and Theodore Boone as the joint winners of our first Bluecoat Best Book Award. Pigeon English by Stephen Kelman came a very close third.

Pupils chose their favourite book from a shortlist of six provided by Waterstone’s Gloucester. A panel of nine Year 8 boys promoted the books within school. Their efforts put all six shortlisted titles in the top 15 most borrowed library books this year.
