Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts

During the 2015 Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts two Year 10 boys, Callum May and Daniel Parrott, entered a number of categories gaining notable success.
Callum entered the Original Story writing competition and his piece about a man who has to deal with a disturbing incident in a neighbours flat gained an outstanding mark of 90, which was the highest mark across all age groups. You can read the full article here.
Daniel entered two separate competitions. In the prose speaking, where he read a passage from the book Skulduggery Pleasant, he too score an outstanding mark of 90 meaning that he claimed the 1 st place position for the third year in a row. Daniel also entered the Solo Acting Class, winning this for the second year in a row. This is the biggest drama prize at the festival and his performance of a scene from the novel The Curious Incident of the dog in the night-time clearly impressed the judges.
