A team of 8 year 12 students from STRS became EYP regional champions on Monday, following a full day of debates with topics ranging from peace in Yemen to disability access to public transport. The team did exceptionally well and were complimented on their mature debating style, teamwork and research.

The team now progress to the EYP National Finals which are held in Liverpool in June. At the national finals the team will work with students from all over the UK, as well as delegations from other European countries and will be looking to achieve a place at an International final.
