Sixteen of our Drama students from Years 10-13 will be watching a live stream of the Bristol Old Vic’s production of The Flying Lovers of Vitebsk tonight at 7pm. The play tells the story of Marc and Bella Chagall and the turbulent times in which they lived. Head of Drama Mrs Jones says: “I was fortunate enough to watch this in 2018 at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham with a group of students. I can honestly say it is one of the most beautiful, thought provoking and touching performances that I have ever experienced. It is beautifully constructed and ticks so many boxes for our students when looking at performance, vocal, physical elements, design, staging, costume, props, use of colour...it is breathtaking.”
