Students from G15 – a partnership of Secondary Schools, Milestone School and Gloucestershire College - gathered in Gloucester Cathedral on Thursday 11th June to put on their summer showcase 'The G15 Celebration of Success' where each organisation is invited to put forward an item for the programme which could be sung, danced or played – or a combination of all three.

Four of our talented students from Year 10 – Gabriel Fryer-Eccles, Maxim Gaidakov, Vinodh Hansraj and Harvey Youngsmith represented STRS with a performance of 'Riptide' by Vance Joy. The boys gave an assured performance with excellent vocals provided by Harvey and Vinodh alongside a wonderful accompaniment by Maxim on the piano and Gabriel on the acoustic guitar and cajón (drum).

The evening was a fantastic opportunity to hear the amazing musical talent inherent in all of the Gloucester schools and is a testament to the dedication of both students and teachers involved in music education.
