James has achieved a remarkable 4th place in the ITU World Championships, Elite Junior race.

He was 8th out of the swim, and managed to get into the front bike pack. This group of athletes worked really well and they gained a 45 second or so lead from the second bike group. James transitioned well onto the run and was overtaken by GB team mate Ben Djkstra (19 yrs) who took bronze.

This is an exceptional performance from James, who was two years younger than the majority of his fellow competitors.
