James competed on Sunday 4th September in the final race of British Triathlon Youth super series 2016, which was held in Strathclyde. He came a close 2nd place at this event.
In August, James won the youth race at the British Championships in Liverpool.
He also won the first triathlon of the series, in May in Llanelli, Wales.
The points system for the National series is based on the best three results over the six events in the series. James achieved two first places and a second.
This meant he finished in first place overall, thus winning the National series. This is a huge achievement, particularly after the nasty bike crash at a race in June.
Well done James on this achievement.
