Jacob Barns gains a place in the National Youth Orchestra of GreatBritain and three prestigious music colleges.
Congratulations to Jacob Barns 13H who has successfully auditioned on the cello for a place in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
The orchestra is recruited anew each year, and current and former musicians must reapply. Competition for places is tough, with most players being at least grade 8 distinction. Successful candidates combine technical aptitude and flair for orchestral playing.
Jacob has also been offered places at Birmingham Conservatoire, The Royal Northern College of Music and The Royal Academy of Music.
This is a huge achievement as the standard at every UK music college is very high due to the volume of people applying from the U.K. and from all over the world.
