The Poet by Elizabeth Acevedo - A novel told in verse and winner of the Clip Carnegie Medal 2019.
Looking for JJ by Anne Cassidy - "Compassionate, unsensational and unflinching" The Guardian.
Check Mates by Stewart Foster - "Funny and heartfelt with a cunning twist. Stewart Foster is a grandmaster" Ross Welford, author.
The Skylark's War by Hilary McKay - "Funny, sad, warm, it is about growing up and finding what you love, intellectually and emotionally" The Sunday Times.
