Politics Trip to the Palace of Westminister

On Tuesday 28th January, 12 students visited the palace of Westminster. After watching debates in the Commons and the Lords, the group was introduced to the Gloucester MP, Richard Graham, who generously gave up 3o minutes of his busy day to answer questions from our students. They raised a range of topical issues with him. These included the voting system currently used for general elections, measures to increase participation in politics and Europe. We returned to Gloucester to enjoy a delicious curry at the Balti Hut.
