Today we are celebrating the commitment, resilience and talent of pupils who have received their GCSE grades and also recognise the staff who have supported them in these achievements. We are mindful that these grades have been awarded in a very different way this year but this does not diminish in any way the pride that these students should feel in achieving such excellent results.

While school-level statistics are less meaningful in these unique circumstances, it should be noted that 100% of students achieved at least five strong passes (grade 5 or above) including English and Maths. 54% of all grades awarded were at the top two grades (8 and 9).
