Royal Wootton Bassett Arts Festival Win for Tate

Tate Franz in Year 9 has taken the Royal Wootton Bassett Arts Festival by storm, competing in seven categories in one day covering Shakespeare, Poetry, Verse, Solo Acting, Music Theatre, Sight-reading, and Memorised Prose.

This was Tate’s first time at the festival and was he Awarded Outstanding and Distinction across the board, bringing home four Silver Medals as well as winning three categories – the Julia Dickinson Trophy for Novice Acting, the Emerald Cup for Shakespeare, and the RWBAF Laurie Lee Cup for Sight Reading. An amazing achievement, well done Tate!
