Samuel Keeling Essay Writing
Published Thursday 16 October 2014 by rcp
In the summer, Samuel Keeling entered an essay writing competition held by Robinaon College, Cambridge. The essay discussed the different interpretations of our understanding of the universe from scientific and artistic positions. In the essay, Samuel establishes the definitions of different and opposite, and then applies these definitions to a scientific and a poetic approach to knowledge.
Competition was fierce, and the standard of essays high; Samuel’s essay won one of the three top prizes, and comments from the College’s judges may be read by clicking here. Earlier this month, Samuel travelled to Cambridge for lunch and a prize ceremony with the other winners and members of Robinson College’s faculty.
Samuel deserves this prize and our congratulations for a well written and thought-provoking essay.
