Sir Thomas Rich's School ranked 39 in the country

Schools in the county are celebrating after being named in a run down of the best in the country.
The Sunday Times featured 10 schools in the county in its guides to the top 200 state and independent schools, which was published on Sunday.
Sir Thomas Rich's School was the highest ranking Gloucester based state school in 39th place, ahead of Stroud High School in 68th place.
The High School for Girls in Gloucester was named the 105th best state school in the country by the newspaper, while Marling School was ranked at 128th place.
