The Under 15 boys hockey team got off to a tremendous start to their season with an excellent 5-1 victory over Rendcomb College today at the University of Gloucestershire. Thankfully the snow that was forecast stayed away, enabling the boys to have play some free flowing, exciting hockey.
Having a lot of the ball and getting little reward didn't seem to frustrate the team, but Will Storey's excellent goal late in the first half was very welcome as the half time whistle drew close. The team started to pass the ball better in the second half and further goals were scored by Storey, Timmy Niblett x2 and Harry Elliott giving the result the gloss that reflected the dominance in the game.
It was a superb start and the team can look forward to next weeks fixture away to KLB.
