We were delighted to welcome Elevate Education into our school to host a seminar for our Year 11 students. It was titled Ace Your Exams and contained some really useful revision strategies and ideas for them to employ in the coming weeks.

Many ideas were discussed but some of the favourites from the students were how to use mind maps effectively, the importance of using past papers and how a revision schedule and timetable are key to helping with preparation. They also discussed the 6 biggest mistakes in exam preparation and the 3 steps to exam room excellence.

As we approach the final full half term before their examinations begin in May the boys are fully aware how effective their current revision techniques and strategies are, and how to improve them further.
