Today the English and Drama department hosted a workshop on Shakespeare's 'The Tempest' for the whole of Year 8. Groups experienced sessions exploring aspects of storytelling, comedy and characterisation. The groups were then asked to work together to devise a performance of one section of the play. The boys devised using skills acquired in Drama across the year which then culminated in a full performance of the play this afternoon. The pupils worked exceptionally well together and demonstrated their wealth of talent in the performances that took place throughout the afternoon. Thanks go to both pupils and staff for making the day a success!
