We recently received a lovely email and some archive photos from Old Richian, Dr Leo Crowley, who attended Sir Thomas Rich’s from 1954-61. After leaving school he entered the Faculty of Medicine, The Queen Victoria University of Manchester. Dr Crowley got in touch to wish us the very best for our upcoming 80 Years of Rugby celebrations on 21 March, which he is unable to attend as he now lives in Dallas, Texas, but he would very much like to be remembered to his old school friends.

Dr Crowley said: “I was House Captain and Senior Prefect (Observator) when Northgate was Cock House in my final year. My contemporaries were Peter Price, Keith Ray, Peter Ireland, and Junior classmen Alan Pontin, Brian Smith and Mike Spiller to name a few. Since 1970 I have been a resident of the United States of America and continue to do so. I wish you all a fantastic evening and best wishes.”

If you attended STRS with Dr Crowley and would like to get in touch, please email our Alumni and Development Director Mrs Lynn on vl@strs.org.uk.
