The 1st XI defeated Wycliffe College by 4 runs on Thursday 12th May, with Peter Carter taking 3 wickets for 16 runs. However, on Saturday 14th May against RGS Worcester a lack of runs, just 133 by the 1st XI, left RGS favourites to win. However, Oliver Pearce and Haroon Shahzad bowled superbly and at one stage RGS were 74 for 7, with Pearce taking 4 wickets for 35 runs. RGS held on though, to win by 3 wickets.
