The 1st XV beat Exeter School 29-15 in a hard-fought encounter in front of a large home crowd to become the South West Group B Regional Champions. Their 4 tries were scored by man-of-the match Louis Earle-Davis [2], Gabriel Chelotti and Conor Gresty, the captain. The scoring was completed by fly-half Matt Evans who kicked three penalty goals. We will now go into the Quarter-Final draw with 7 other regional champions. The Quarter-Final matches are due to be played on or before weds 30th November. This will be our second Quarter-final in this competition and we will be hoping for a home draw when the names come out of the hat at 'HQ' In the next few days. In our 1st quarter-final in 2011 played at home against St Joseph's College, Ipswich, we came very close to pulling off a great result but surrendered a 17-8 lead with 5 minutes to go, to go down 18-17. A certain Sam Underhill was man-of-the-match that day!
