The Netball 1st VII competed in the first round of the County Netball Cup at Hartpury University this week, putting in a strong performance throughout the competition. The team narrowly missed out to The Crypt School in a thrilling finish, with the match decided by a ‘golden goal’ after the scores were tied. The two teams will meet again in the Sisters N Sport National Competition on 20 November. Despite having just four weeks to train and play together, our team came together brilliantly, securing impressive victories over Cheltenham College, Pate’s Grammar School (twice) and King’s School Gloucester. It was an excellent showing from the players, all of whom were fantastic ambassadors for the School.
