Year 12 Economists who are considering a future in the field of economics had the opportunity to attend a virtual conference hosted by the Bank of England recently. Students heard from the following distinguished guest speakers: Tim Harford – author of ‘The Undercover Economist’ and presenter of Radio 4’s ‘More or Less’. Dr Swati Dhingra – MPC Member and Associate Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics. Felicia Odamtten – Economist at The Resolution Foundation. Mark Gregory – Former Ernst & Young Chief Economist and Visiting Professor of Business Economics at Staffordshire University.
