Economics Olympiad

Economics Olympiad

A group of 45 Year 12 and 13 pupils competed in the regional finals of The Economics Olympiad at the end of last week. The students attended the University of Worcester for the event, and faced two rounds of Economics questions, which increased in difficulty as the rounds progressed. Well done to all the pupils, who were fantastic ambassadors for Sir Thomas Rich's, and particular congratulations go to the following students (pictured here), who have made it through to the National Finals at the end of June in London. We are incredibly proud of their commitment and understanding of Economics, and wish them the best of luck for the next round! They are:

  • Conor D (Y13)
  • Liam K (Y13)
  • John S (Y13)
  • Eva M (Y13)
  • Evie S (Y13)
  • Oliver F (Y12)

If our students are successful at the National Final, they will be invited to the International Final in Greece in August.
