European Day of Languages

On Monday the School celebrated the European Day of Languages with a number of activities for pupils, designed to promote interest in language learning and showcase the richness and diversity of languages and cultures in the world today.
The European Day of languages is the initiative of the Council of Europe, Strasbourg and has been celebrated every year since 2001 on 26 September. It is a European celebration of the wealth of world languages. My thanks go to year 10 and 12 Language Ambassadors who ran the activities and the pupils for participating with such enthusiasm.
