The School Choir took part in a traditional Evensong service at Gloucester Cathedral yesterday, joining the Cathedral Youth Choir and choristers from The King’s School. Together, the groups contributed to the singing of psalms, canticles and anthems throughout the service. The Choir benefited from a session with Adrian Partington, Director of Music at Gloucester Cathedral, who introduced them to the structure of Evensong and offered expert guidance on choral singing. The occasion provided a memorable and enriching experience for the pupils in the Cathedral’s impressive setting.
