This week 20 of our Year 10 pupils completed the second leg of our exchange with our partner school in Göttingen, Germany. Students were a credit to Rich's as they fully immersed themselves in the culture and embraced the spirit of the exchange. It was wonderful to see so much interaction, and to hear our students speaking so much German. The programme included a trip on the ICE train to Berlin for an historical tour, and a day in Goslar where we visited a mine and an emperor’s palace. Our final send-off included a day at a sports centre with lots of activities, including spikeball and climbing, followed by a farewell party with all the families. Many traditional foods and customs have been experienced and friendships forged in the 48th year of this long-standing exchange.
