Higher Education and Careers Fayre

Rich’s hosted its annual Higher Education and Careers Fayre, but this year, thanks to Mrs Morris, the school organised numerous presentations for our students to access. Subsequently, Students from Years 10-13 were able to attend talks that included Oxbridge entry, Degree Apprenticeships, Engineering, Psychology, Chemistry, History, Medicine, Business and many others. In total, Mrs Morris had organised around twenty guest speakers into Rich’s. This coupled with the Universities, that promoted their courses, plus the presence of other stands, that included UCAS, ensured that our Students were able to tap into a wealth of knowledge, plus expertise. Initial feedback from the students was very positive and many of our guests commented on how well our students were involved and engaged throughout the day.
It should be stressed to Parents that the school is constantly staging Higher Education and Career events that all our students can sign up to. These events are constantly being advertised and promoted on the school ‘Homepage’ and we endeavour to cover all angles, whether it be for students wishing to go to university, pursue an apprenticeship or simply get an insight into a specific career area. If any Parents of ‘Friends of Rich’s’ would like to come into the school and provide an insight into their career, organisation, profession or expertise, please do not hesitate to contact me at the school.
