Our Year 7, 8 and 9 cooks have been making spaghetti bolognese over the last couple of weeks, both meat and veggie versions – amazing efforts from Jack Miller 7T, James Mitchell 7B, Samuel Shore-Nye 9B, Freddie Hitchen 7T and Harry Setchell 8B, amongst many others. Jack Miller’s recipe is below if you’re feeling hungry! Food Tech teacher Mrs Phillips has also awarded cookbooks to the students she believes have been outstanding home chefs during lockdown:

Jack Miller says: “I decided to make some spaghetti bolognese for my family with some help from my mum. It tasted great with the garlic bread!” The ingredients were:
4 tbsp olive oil
1 crushed garlic
800g beef mince
