House Chess results: Southgate win! Over the course of a week, pupils from all five Houses competed in our annual House Chess Competition. The event showcased strategic thinking, patience and determination, with competitors earning points for their House through a series of challenging matches held throughout the week.

After some closely contested games, Southgate emerged as House Chess Champions with 20 points, narrowly ahead of Westgate on 18 points. Newgate secured third place with 12 points, followed by Northgate on 9 points and Eastgate on 8 points.

A huge thank you to all the pupils who took part and represented their Houses so positively throughout the competition.
