This year’s House Cooking Competition is open to pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9, and the theme is vegan baking. We are looking for pupils' best and tastiest vegan cake or muffin recipe, so it's a chance to get really creative and impress the staff judges. Pupils should bring their named/labelled entries to Mrs Phillips in the Food Technology building at the start of the school day on the relevant Year group judging day (see below). All entries must be collected again at the end of the day.

• Year 7 – Monday 27 April
• Year 8 – Tuesday 28 April
• Year 9 – Thursday 30 April

Each entry must include a recipe card with a full list of ingredients and a note as to what inspired each pupil's recipe. (No more than two entries per tutor group.) Judges will be looking at presentation, taste and decoration.
