Iceland Trip

Year 8 and Year 10 pupils have returned from an unforgettable Geography adventure in Iceland, where the country’s dramatic landscapes brought classroom learning vividly to life.
Known as the ‘Land of Ice and Fire’, Iceland provided the perfect outdoor classroom for our 45 students. Throughout the trip they experienced a glacier hike, explored a dramatic gorge, enjoyed a 4x4 safari, witnessed volcanic hot springs and erupting geysers, and visited some of the country’s spectacular waterfalls. Each activity offered a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of the geography they have studied in the classroom, while creating memories to last a lifetime.
