Three Year 8 pupils from the Junior Debate Team (Sam C, Thomas H, David S) competed in the District Final of the prestigious Rotary Youth Speaks: A Debate Competition on Saturday. The group chose to present the arguments in favour and against the motion “This house would suspend the development of AI”, exploring the impact that AI is having on our lives. The team did exceptionally well, placing third. It’s the first time the School has taken part in this competition, and we look forward to being part of next year’s events.
