Congratulations to both the KS3 and KS4 teams for winning the Level 2 District Badminton finals this week. They will be both representing STRS at the County finals in February.

The KS3 team of Ansh Nair, Sai Kenche, Justin Abraham and Elvis Edakkara beat Severn Vale, Beaufort and Gloucester Academy all 5-0 to comfortably win the Gloucester District. Over the 3 matches they impressively only conceded 73 points.

The KS4 team of Raiph Ackroyd, Mark Thomas, Taras Wolczuk and Ishan Jani beat Severn Vale, St Peters and Crypt all 5-0 to also comfortably win the Gloucester District. Over the 3 matches they impressively only conceded 74 points. The KS3 team will be pleased to know that they were 1 point better than the KS4 team!

Both teams will hope to repeat the success of the KS3 team last year and win the Level 3 county finals to qualify for the South West Region.
