Year 13 students enjoyed a poetry workshop this week with visiting local poet and photographer (and former English teacher), Philip Rush. Students gained a valuable insight into the writing process, developing their analytical skills by ‘thinking like a poet’. Philip also gave practical advice for approaching the comparative poetry essay in the Component 3 exam.
