I am delighted to report that yesterday a group of year 12 and 13 linguists once again had the opportunity to attend a series of lectures in French, German and Spanish at Stroud High School. The lectures were organized by the West of England branch of ALL (Association for Language Learning) and were delivered by native speakers, working in Higher Education. The themes were linked to the A level topics and gave an excellent insight into some cultural aspects of the relevant countries. The students really enjoyed the lectures and have undoubtedly benefitted both linguistically and intellectually from the experience. <u1:p></u1:p>
