Meet the Medical Student Presentation – Matt Lee

Rich’s welcomed former Rich’s pupil, Matt Lee to provide a talk to our students about his experiences as a Medical Student at Cardiff University. Matt has just completed his second year at Cardiff and was kind enough to provide our students with lots of tips and advice on how to apply for a Medical degree, plus information of what it is like once you had started on the course. His insights, experiences and advice was well received from a large contingent of students from Years 10 to 12. His talk was followed by an informal ‘Q&A’ session. As part of his course, Matt is embarking in September on a ‘Widening Access to Medicine Mentoring Scheme’ in Wales, but he has kindly offered to help any of our potential medical students as well. Our students should take up this opportunity in order to enhance their chances of getting onto what is a very competitive degree at University.
