This morning A Level Politics students took part in a Q&A session with Baroness Bennett, talking about the work and role of the House of Lords. Students asked a range of questions about the role of minority parties in Parliament, the new government, the passage and making of new laws and the representation of minority groups. Baroness Bennett gave comprehensive answers and a range of superb examples to further the students’ understanding of the role of both Houses of Parliament. We are grateful to her and the Learn with the Lords team for organising this event.
