We won! Teams from Sir Thomas Rich’s competed in the Lancaster University 100 Day Entrepreneur Challenge recently, a UK-wide competition for Year 12 and 13 students organised by the Lancaster University Management School. The challenge was to come up with a business plan which would help to achieve one of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which teams then introduced in a 4-5 minute presentation.

Two teams from the school took part, Team Business Plan-demic and Team Business Plan au Chocolat. Team Business Plan-demic – Misty HG, Millie M and Izzi O in Year 12 – won the Student Choice Award with their plan to end period poverty for women in the UK. Here they are pictured with their winner’s trophy.

Well done to both teams for the fantastic feedback they received and the effort they put into their plans.
