The MFL Department is delighted to announce that Sam C from 9B has won first prize in the German Compound Noun Competition organised by Pate’s School. The competition was open to all schools in the area which teach German, and Sam’s imaginative “Zungenbrecher” (tongue-twister) poster impressed the judges with its creativity and understanding of the langauge. His entry stood out among submissions from students across the city, earning him a £10 book voucher. Well done, Sam!
